PEPPER MESA

We excitedly and hesitantly brought home a new family member. She's a little Aussie Cattle Dog we got at the pound. It's been quite a transition for us. A lot of "no's", a lot of tears, a lot of chewed walls, doors and clothing, and a lot of vet bills. This poor little girl had to spend a night in the doggie hospital, and is on four medications for a possible reaction to a tick bite or a poisoning. We're really not sure, but it's cheaper to treat her for both, then to get the testing done to find out.

Nevertheless, we are all getting along better. We named her Sandy and she's getting along with Pepper pretty well. Amazing! John is also giving her a lot of attention and helping out. I think we're all going to be very happy together and pretty soon we won't be able to imagine life without her. I posted a picture of her in the albums. It was hard to keep her still enough for the photo, but I got it. She's a wild one!
